Mature Makeup Clean Classy Rainy season Make up tips Mansoon Makeup Tips.

The monsoons have begun in some parts of India.
At the outset, Ponds International’s Skin Analyzer, gives a couple of tips to take care of the skin in the rainy season.
The tips are as follows:
1. Cleansinga. Anti-bacterial Cleanser for removing bacteria.b. Mild Cleanser for oily skinc. Ice pack for contracting sebum glands
2. Toning the skin at night to take off the grime and dirt in the humid season.
3. Moisturizing with a non-water based moisturizer, to avoid the effect of dilution of cream in the rains.
4. Exfoliation to take out the hardened oils from the root of the skin.

Sickly, dull, oily-looking skin is common during the rainy season. Nondescript itching also occurs occasionally. A few additional tips on how to keep your complexion glowing:

  1. Use a face scrub twice a week to exfoliate.

  2. Avoid heavy moisturising creams or oily foundations and cream-based colour makeup.

  3. Use a light mousse or a matte compact or simply a few drops of calamine lotion as a makeup base.

  4. A facewash containing alpha hydroxyl acid (like Ahaglow) helps to freshen the skin, but do not use it more than once a day.

  5. Use a toner each time you wash your face to close the pores and restore your skin's pH balance.

  6. Chemical peels (skin treatment performed by dermatologists) are also an excellent way to freshen up dull skin and the monsoon is the best weather for them -- there is no risk of sun exposure and sensitivity after the peeling session.

  7. There are a variety of peels available nowadays -- skin-lightening peels, acne peels, peels for sensitive skin, arginine peels for under-eye circles etc.

Steve McNair was shot to death in Nashville.Youtube

Tragedy takes no holidays: McNair shot dead in Nashville
Stunning news Saturday afternoon in the world of sports as former Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair was shot to death in Nashville.

Former NFL quarterback Steve McNair: 1973-2009. (AP photo)Here's a link to the story in the Tennessean, which is reporting that an unidentified woman was also found dead at the scene in a downtown condominium.

Gun violence -- and all violence -- are difficult problems in this country and McNair's death, at age 36, is another sad reminder.

It is ominous to recall now that McNair was arrested for illegal gun possession in May of 2003 when a 9-mm handgun was found in his car when he was pulled over for a drunk-driving arrest.

McNair will be best remembered for leading the Titans to their only Super Bowl in 2000 when his final pass of the game wound up coming inches short of a game-winning touchdown against the Rams when Kevin Dyson was tackled at the goal line as time expired.

McNair was also co-MVP of the NFL with Peyton Manning in 2003. And, yes, he was one of the trailblazers among black quarterbacks in pro football, as portrayed well in this Baltimore Sun story after his retirement from the Ravens in 2008.

Mike Freeman of cbssports.com recalls McNair in this column as a first-class guy who always wanted to know how you were doing instead of the other way around.

Less remembered will be the fact he was a good-enough athlete to be selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 35th round of the 1991 draft as a shortstop out of Mt. Olive High School in Mississippi.

RIP, Steve McNair, another who died too young.

least common multiple steps and youtube

Access full lesson containing this video at: http://www.yourteacher.com/... Students learn to find the least common multiple (LCM) given two integers, and the least common multiple
Finding The Least Common Multiple Is As Easy As One, Two...
The least common multiple of two or more non-zero whole numbers is actually the smallest whole number that is divisible by each of the numbers.
There are two widely used methods.
Method 1
Simply list the multiples of each number (multiply by 2, 3, 4, etc.) then look for the smallest number that appears in each list.
Example: Find the least common multiple for 5, 6, and 15.
First we list the multiples of each number.
Multiples of 5 are 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40,...
Multiples of 6 are 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48,...
Multiples of 15 are 30, 45, 60, 75, 90,....
Now, when you look at the list of multiples, you can see that 30 is the smallest number that appears in each list.
Therefore, the least common multiple of 5, 6 and 15 is 30.
Method 2
To use this method factor each of the numbers into primes. Then for each different prime number in all of the factorizations, do the following...
Count the number of times each prime number appears in each of the factorizations.
For each prime number, take the largest of these counts.
Write down that prime number as many times as you counted for it in step 2.
The least common multiple is the product of all the prime numbers written down.
Example: Find the least common multiple of 5, 6 and 15.
Factor into primes
Prime factorization of 5 is 5
Prime factorization of 6 is 2 x 3
Prime factorization of 15 is 3 x 5
Notice that the different primes are 2, 3 and 5.
Now, we do Step #1 - Count the number of times each prime number appears in each of the factorizations...
The count of primes in 5 is one 5
The count of primes in 6 is one 2 and one 3
The count of primes in 15 is one 3 and one 5
Step #2 - For each prime number, take the largest of these counts. So we have...
The largest count of 2s is one
The largest count of 3s is one
The largest count of 5s is one
Step #3 - Since we now know the count of each prime number, you simply - write down that prime number as many times as you counted for it in step 2.
Here they are...
2, 3, 5
Step #4 - The least common multiple is the product of all the prime numbers written down.
2 x 3 x 5 = 30
Therefore, the least common multiple of 5, 6 and 15 is 30.
So there you have it. A quick and easy method for finding least common multiples.

Edward Jenner

Edward Jenner 1749-1823, English physician; pupil of John Hunter. His invaluable experiments beginning in 1796 with the vaccination of eight-year-old James Phipps proved that cowpox provided immunity against smallpox. His discovery was instrumental in ridding many areas of the world of a dread disease and laid the foundations of modern immunology as a science.

Jonas Salk All Information of Jonas Salk Youtube

About Jonas Salk
When Dr. Jonas Salk envisioned the idea of the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, it was with the idea of creating a vibrant, intellectual community, dedicated to pursuing the kinds of scientific achievements that had made him an international figure only five years before.

Salk came to La Jolla following a career in clinical medicine and virology research. After obtaining his M.D. degree at the New York University School of Medicine in 1939, he was a staff physician at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.
He then joined his mentor, Dr. Thomas Francis, as a research fellow at the University of Michigan. There, he worked to develop an influenza vaccine at the behest of the U.S. Army. In 1947, he was appointed director of the Virus Research Laboratory at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
It was in Pittsburgh that Salk began to put together the techniques that would lead to his polio vaccine. He was already struck by the principle of vaccination: that if the body is artificially exposed to a harmless form of a disease virus, the body will produce antibodies that resist or kill the dangerous form of the virus if later exposed. In contrast to the Pasteurian dogma of the times, Salk believed that protective immunity could be induced without infection by a living virus such as those used in the vaccines against smallpox and rabies. In developing the influenza vaccine, he had observed that protection could be established using noninfectious, inactivated (killed) viruses.
Salk's research caught the attention of Basil O'Connor, president of the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis (now known as the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation). The organization decided to fund Salk's efforts to develop a killed virus vaccine against the most frightening scourge of the time: paralytic poliomyelitis.
Using formaldehyde, Salk killed the poliovirus, but kept it intact enough to trigger the necessary immune response. His work was enabled by a key achievement made by Harvard researcher John Enders. Enders and his team had figured out how to grow poliovirus in test tubes. This step was necessary to obtain the quantities of pure virus needed to develop and manufacture a vaccine.
The resulting injectable vaccine was tested first in monkeys and then in patients at the D.T. Watson Home for Crippled Children (now The Watson Institute), who already had polio.
Next, vaccine was given to volunteers who had not had polio, including Salk, his laboratory staff, his wife and their children. The volunteers developed anti-polio antibodies and none had bad reactions to the vaccine. Finally, in 1954, national testing began on one million children, ages six to nine, who became known as the Polio Pioneers: half received the vaccine, and half received a placebo. One-third of the children, who lived in areas where vaccine was not available, were observed to evaluate the background level of polio in this age group. On April 12, 1955, the results were announced: the vaccine was safe and effective. In the two years before vaccine was widely available, the average number of polio cases in the U.S. was more than 45,000. By 1962, that number had dropped to 910. Salk never patented the vaccine, nor did he earn any money from his discovery, preferring to see it distributed as widely as possible.
Given the fear and anxiety that polio caused during the first half of the century, the vaccine's success in 1955 made Salk an international hero, and he spent the late 1950s refining the vaccine and establishing the scientific principles behind it. By 1960, however, Salk was ready to move on. Salk's dream was to create an independent research center where a community of scholars interested in different aspects of biology – the study of life – could come together to follow their curiosity.
For more than a year, Salk toured the country in search of the right location for his research center. Finally, wooed by San Diego Mayor Charles Dail, who had had polio, he was drawn to 27 acres on a mesa in La Jolla, just west of the proposed site for the new University of California campus then planned for San Diego. With a gift of the land from the citizens of San Diego and with initial financial support from the National Foundation/March of Dimes, Salk was able to proceed. To bring his concept of free-flowing labs and quiet studies to life, Salk recruited architect Louis Kahn. The resulting collaboration is a series of elegant concrete structures that overlook the Pacific Ocean.
Under Salk's direction, the Institute began research activities in 1963 and gradually expanded its faculty and the areas of their research interests. Salk's personal research activities included multiple sclerosis and autoimmune diseases, cancer immunology, improved manufacture and standardization of killed poliovirus vaccine, and the development of an AIDS vaccine. He published several philosophical books and advocated cooperative rather than confrontational approaches to addressing human needs.

Hundreds of thousands of people from around the world are expected to pour into Los Angeles and police said they were preparing for an event of historic proportions.
It is likley to be bigger than that of Elvis Presley in 1977, when 80,000 fans lined the streets near his Graceland estate in Memphis, Tenessee.

At Graceland Presley was laid out in a 900lb copper-lined coffin underneath a crystal chandelier and dressed is a pure white suit.
In 2007 the opera singer Luciano pavorotti’s funeral was braodcast live on television as thousands of people gathered to mourn in his home town of Modena.
Among the thousands of mourners were stars such as U2’s Bono and the tenors Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras. The Roman Catholic service culminated in a recording of Pavarotti’s famous rendition of Nessun Dorma and a fly-past by the Italian air force.
The funeral of silent film star Rudolph Valentino in New York in 1926 drew 40,000 fans
By contrast, the funeral of Marilyn Monroe in 1962 was a private affair at a Los Angeles chapel with only 25 people invited. Before the service, part of the casket was opened so mourners could see her for the last time.

Twoogle InformationTwoogle? Gootter? What if Twitter and Google teamed up?

Twoogle provides an easy way to search Twitter and Google simultaneously, from the same site, displaying its results side by side.
Twoogle aims to make easier for people to get the best of two worlds: The realtimeness of Twitter and the relevancy of Google search results; it also provides a "Tweet these results" functionality, making it easy to share on Twitter with just one click.
Browsys is not responsible for the terms of service, privacy policies and practices of Twitter, Google, any other third-party service provided from or linked from Twoogle. This service is provided without warranty of any kind.

Whether you think Twitter is the greatest thing since egg slicers or you think it's just another dumb way to waste time on the internet, there's one thing that makes Twitter extraordinarily helpful: real-time search. While Google does a pretty good job of letting you find maps of South Dakota, the best place to buy a digital camera, or other the latest news from Washington, Twitter search can help you figure out what people are talking about right now. For instance, if you wanted to figure out whether you were the only person experiencing a Google outage yesterday, all you had to do was look at Twitter. Or a few weeks ago you could find out exactly what people thought about the new Star Trek movie seconds after the surprise premiere in Austin.Twoogle is a tool that provides the best of both worlds, but letting you search both Google and Twitter at the same time. Just enter a search term, and Twoogle will provide results in a split-screen format, with Twitter search listings on the left and Google on the right. The only problem I have with Twoogle is that Google doesn't look great when you squash the window, since you wind up providing roughly equal space to search results and sponsored links. But if you have a higher resolution monitor this shouldn't be a problem. FYI, the screenshot above was made using Google Chrome on a 1280 x 800 pixel display.

Twoogle? Gootter? What if Twitter and Google teamed up?
By Senior Staff Writer – Steve Saylor
Of course the rumors are flying again that Twitter was going to be acquired by Google. The latest batch came from April Fools Day, which a lot of people are starting to take a bit more seriously.
Obviously, rumors are just that, rumors. However, let’s think about it this way, what if Twitter were acquired by Google? What would happen to our favorite little tweety bird of a social network?
I’m not one for predictions, but I will throw my hat in the ring, or check my box under the “I think it’s a good idea” column. Why? Because it’s not about Twitter getting eaten up by the Big Daddy Google Machine, it’s about we can finally stop worrying how Twitter will get money. Every time we hear reports of Twitter having to ask for more funding, some can get worried that this network will go under.
All this has happened before, and it will all happen again. Remember a little startup called YouTube? Everyone was worrying then whenever YouTube was asking for more money, but as soon as Google acquired them, YouTube is going stronger than ever, and are able to not only keep their servers running, but they can now host HD content, pay some of it’s highest viewed users, and still be the awesome little video sharing site that could; all with Google’s help.
Of course we don’t know how well internally that partnership is going, but on the outside looking in, everything seems okay.
So please everyone stop worrying about whether or not Twitter will be bought by Google. If it happens, then that’s a sigh of relief. If not, Twitter will tweet along and fly freely just as fine. Trust me, this is a site that won’t go away anytime soon.
Not if Ashton Kutcher has anything to say about it.
Did I just make an Ashton Kutcher joke? …… Yeah I did!
*high five*
What are you thoughts? What would you like to see happen with Twitter? Is being bought by Google a good thing? Leave comments below, I would love to see how this conversation develops.
